ABOUT THE SOUNDS
Acoustic
Traditional sound bath instruments lay the foundation of every In Service of Sound. Crystal singing bowls create a beautiful drone that fills the room with gentle waves of sound that all other instruments can mingle with. Chimes, small gongs, bells, shakers and hand drums make up the other acoustic companions to the bowls. Each with their own appropriate times to be introduced into the ocean of sound.

Electronic
Over the years, I've curated a very interesting collection of drone tone generators, esoteric samplers and loopers, obscure synthesizers and other electronic oddities. Layering these sounds into the organic acoustic ensemble adds sonic flavors of curiosity, depth, discovery and imagination to the ambient mix. This creates new audio textures, gently pulsing tones and layers of folding sonic dust to explore.

Electroacoustic
Microphones bring the sounds of the bowls, shakers, bells, homemade instruments and my own voice into a chain of effects units creating another layer of unique sounds adding to the mix. What was once a very recognizable sound becomes an abstract texture stretched to infinity and folded in effortlessly to the drone of each session.
